The Taperoo Dunes are habitat to many birds, animals and insects. Indigenous plants are spread amongst the dunes and they protect the sand drift and habitat. At Taperoo Dunes, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all.

Planting and Weeding sessions at Taperoo Dunes
The successful planting session at Taperoo Dunes on 16 June 2025 was a great example of all sectors – volunteer, non-government environment, local and state government and corporate – working together to increase biodiversity along our coastline.
